Automation QA Engineer
Location
Kyiv
Responsibilities:
- Owning all QA activities including automation and building test infrastructure
- Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and executing testing activities
- Maintaining and extending QA automation on the project
- Developing functional tests scenarios
- Developing and supporting testing infrastructure
Key areas:
Communication skills: it is crucial to us that you will have high communication skills. You need to be able to elaborate on topics, explain problems and solutions, guide and mentor your teams
International environment: you will be working with a team in Ukraine and external teams outside the office (remote cooperation)
Leadership skillset: As a leader, you will be responsible for building the environment and prioritize development tasks and activities
Agile, SAFe understanding: We need you to be Agile and experienced in establishing and implementing development practices and standards across multiple agile development teams
Process understanding: You need to be able to guide us through software engineering processes
At least 2 years of experience in those areas
International environment: you will be working with a team in Ukraine and external teams outside the office (remote cooperation)

Skills and experience:
- 4+ years of test automation with Java
- Expert in use of unit testing frameworks
- Knowledge of Bash, Power shell or similar scripting language
- Understanding of OOP and SOLID software development principle
- Knowledge or previous experience with BDD and Gherkin
- Knowledge of RESTful web services design principles
- Knowledge of Jenkins
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Strong English skills, both spoken and written
- Tools experience: JUnit, TestNG,Selenium, Karate, Jmeter, Hyphothesis,m OWASP-Nettacker, Metasploit, Gatling, Locust, Jmeter, Visual regression tools.
